| AT Textiles Private Limited Co. was established in 2012 by Asnake and his partner. They were involved in a quality control assignment for an American textile company that used to buy garments from Ethiopia before they embarked on garment sales as well as the textile business. The company currently employs close to 53 full-time employees 47 of whom are women. It produces various products including T-shirts, shirts, underwear, and so on. The company intends to start a textile print line, where based on client demands logos or other forms of prints will be applied to products. The company rests in a small rented space around Mekanisa. If and when various product lines are added it would be impossible to operate within the existing space |
